I would not call this product a professional tool.

I would not describe this product as a professional tool. This product is more suited to a weekend home project that will use it once or twice a year. There is little to no tolerance for "self-alignment", the inability to adjust the position of the horizontal lines renders the second line pointless. You can choose not to tilt the device at all and the device will "level itself". I got what I paid for. This unit needs work. The Trip Pod does not meet professional standards for everyday use. I'm a bit disappointed with this product.
