I love the length of this skirt. I'm 5'4" and it hits me just below the knees. I like the straight skirt and it's very flattering. I think you could wear a shirt with it, tucked in or open - I don't tuck in shirts. I find, that the pockets bulge a bit, but not so much that it's unflattering. And who doesn't like pockets. Too big for me. Even with velcro. The middle one fits well and leaves about an inch of unused velcro on me. The The material is very light and smooth, I think I will benefit a lot from it.
