Poor build quality
I installed the dog flap on November 27, 2019. It is now March 2nd, 2020 and the rod holding the sash in the opening has slipped to the side, allowing the sash to fall off. If you attempt to reinstall the shock without completely disassembling it, there will not be enough room to slide the rod back through the hole in the frame on the opposite side. I was hoping this would help my dog eat the flexible valve my previous door had, but either way the huge gaping hole in my door lets the cold through no matter what brand it is.
