Review on 🎧 Turtle Beach Ear Force Xbox Series X/S & Xbox One Headset Audio Controller - Enhanced Audio, Game & Mic Settings, Chat & Game Mix, and Mic Monitoring by Aaron Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you don't have a Turtle Beach headset, buy the LX1.

It worked well but I wasn't entirely impressed. I sent it back because it was causing crackling in my headset when the volume was near high. The volume buttons aren't easy to find without looking, and there's no visual representation of volume levels. The mute button is too small and hard to find without looking. The equalizer settings are not very clean and do not differ too much from each other. The superhuman hearing capability simply increases the gain in the mids and highs, making the audio sound quite sizzling and the bullets sound louder even when they're not even close to you. I thought the Plantronics/RIG LX1 would be a better match for my HyperX Cloud Alpha headset. It has better EQ settings, more intuitive controls, and I snag the extra port on the LX1 to mix my music through my "superhuman hearing" TB every day.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Style 90
