Magnet is a bit weak

Overall a good little part for the price. The magnet is weak but does the job. Simply turn the lids aside when removing them from the water. I'm not sure why you really need one of these. Cap companies have changed the way they are made and no longer require cooking. But I chose to hand wash my lids and soak them in water before putting them on, just to be on the safe side. Thus, this device helps to remove them from the water without polluting them.
