I originally looked at the sizes and chose Lg but I have large calves and I was a bit hesitant and asked other buyers for advice and they all mentioned Lg so I bought them. They felt quite comfortable, a little too comfortable, and worried that it would become uncomfortable over time. I contacted them straight away and got an immediate response and they said they would send me a pair of XLs! What great customer service! They also advised me to try both and that the Lg might be good for the weightlifting that I do as you need a tight fit but also use the XL if it feels better. The best customer service I've ever had. Promptly and with understanding, and the product itself is very durable and comfortable to wear! I would definitely recommend this company and with that experience I will definitely be looking to them for future CrossFit equipment purchases! Thanks very much!
