Vortex is the winner!

Vortex isn't a 1-truck pony, just for fenders. It did a great job with wings, but I use it for every cook, regardless of meat. I use it in the center of the grill (a 22" Webber kettle) small end up to heat the wings more intensely and flip it over with the large end toward the end for a "hot zone" to create for cooking everything else.
