I LOVE this item. I bought it in the first place because my clothes mysteriously came out of the wash still smelly. While this helped, it didn't fix the issue (see below for the solution), but I started hand washing my clothes out of desperation, thinking my communal washing machines were the problem. This item is great for hand washing! I do the last rinse, but this can be much quicker than with other detergents. And it does an excellent job of cleaning rough sportswear. You can use very little and it will still work wonders - this is my second bottle in over 2 years. I am very happy that I can still find it here. Why did my clothes smell? I eventually found out the problem was that the tap water in my house was almost freezing, including the stuff that went straight into my washing machine. Most modern cleaners work with "cold" water, but they detect cold temperatures of 60 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Mine was approaching 32 degrees - eventually the pipes froze! So if your clothes start mysteriously smelling in winter, then you're not super sweating (my first theory) - maybe you should check the temperature of the water in the car.
