For example looks and size - not as big as I thought (which is a good thing). Assembly went fine until I attached the wheel frame to the bottom of the box - the holes weren't even close. I had to expand the 4 holes in the wheel frame with a drill and a jigsaw. But once together it looked great. I just made the first batch with Orville Redenbacher, Flavocal and coconut oil - turned out great. Slightly smoky (I think from the first use). Exploded grains fell out when popped due to the glass door leaking (design flaw). We put in a cup of corn and within minutes there were three full big bowls of popcorn. Interesting to look at and the popcorn tastes great (I used coconut oil the first time). So mostly all good. However, a big minus is that this thing is difficult to clean, especially the kettle, as the lid cannot be completely removed without disassembly. We got one for free that used to be pretty tacky just to try out the concept - now I know why it was so tacky. So it's probably better for a casual party than everyday use because of the cleaning effort involved.
