The straight connector is too wide and too close to the part it connects to. I have Beats headphones and the jack doesn't fit far enough into the port for good sound. Either one side of the headphone is getting power or there is no sound at all. It should work with connectors that are completely perpendicular to the surface, but not angled like the Beats headphones. Otherwise there would have been more than one star if the description didn't state that these are Beats headphones.
