I used it to wrap a large pet carrier to keep moisture out. I used it as a home for a feral colony that I care about. It took two of us to wrap it around as the stretcher is so big and we got a little dizzy, but it clings to itself very well and not only waterproofs the house but helps with insulation. I then covered the top with a black plastic trash bag to keep out the rain. So far it has held up (several weeks, rain and snow) and the cats are happy with their new straw home.
