Approximately the same thickness and flexibility as newsprint. The package I received did not look like the picture, ie without a Bryco label. In addition, the product images show that you will receive 1 5lb pack, 2 10lb packs and 4 20lb packs. You can see in my photos it's around 10 pounds. actually comes. As other people have said, you should probably weigh the package when you receive it. I returned the first package (yesterday) because it only weighed 9 pounds. 9 ounces including plastic. Surprisingly got a replacement today. It weighed a whopping 10 pounds, even without the plastic. I'm wondering if the first package I received was a return that was repackaged. As you can see the 2nd picture shows the strap around the whole set. Actual sheet dimensions are 27 x 16.5 inches, not 27 x 17 inches, but like I said I got 10 pounds. from the 2nd attempt.
