This is sort of the only option for something other than your stock caps. The protective cap is easy to remove and put on, but the diesel plug is a problem. The rubber seal broke very easily. If it breaks, it is useless because it no longer fits and easily falls out of driving operation. What I did was super glue and it worked. Unfortunately, the rubber seal that comes with it is too big and you have to press it against the tank opening. If you squeeze it too hard, you'll need a knife to open it every time. I handle mine gently, leaving a slit for my fingers to grasp. Even then it can still be difficult. My buddy was filling up my truck as I walked into the gas station and I got out and he was still trying to get the gas cap off. So the colors aren't that great, and it's annoying. If you want something ready made then I wouldn't buy it. If you're willing to upgrade and fix things to your liking, then maybe powder them a different color and laser engrave them saying DEF & Diesel and try a few other rubber grommets that are thinner so that doesn't the case is take off. I personally knew I would update them to my liking because the colors just weren't to my liking. Haven't done it yet but will post pics when I do.
