Review on 🚴 Fast and Folding 4-Bike Premium Hitch Mount Rack - KAC S4 2” with Quick Release Handle and Smart Tilting Design by Alejandro Labustin

1 week review (8/26/2019) - I recently started cycling and decided to buy a car mount so I can ride the various bike trails and bike from there. . At first I was so confused by the number of Amazon only options including named brands. I've seen a lot of Th**e brand racks, but the prices didn't convince me. So I decided to try some new brands and added another brand to my cart that had a lot of reviews. Then I came across the Overdrive bike rack, which only had about 5 reviews. I usually walk by products that have fewer reviews. But for some reason I love the design of this bike rack and from the picture alone it seems like a solid product unlike other brands that use a lot of plastic. I bit the bullet and took the risk of ordering it. I received the product in the delivery window and even before I opened the box I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. The packaging was sufficient to carry the product and boy was it heavy. Installation was easy and included all the parts needed. I had to reach into my set of torque wrenches to make sure they were tight enough as they are heavy and the small tools that come with the product (hex key and small wrench) are unable to cut them. I ended up using a lockable clutch pin instead of the one that came with the unit for security reasons. I wish this one had a lockable stylus as well, and I wouldn't mind offering a few bucks more for it. The lever mechanism for releasing and locking the stands is very simple, spring-loaded and not easy to break. I've ridden with the bike rack around town and on the highway and haven't noticed any noise or rattling. The stretchy rubber tethers used to hold the bikes in place feel very nice and look like two of those pieces have been fused together. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and hope it lasts a long time. Will be updated as my experience changes. Would buy again for my wife's car if needed.
