My old Brother label printer stopped working after I bought some labels and I decided to try this to use Brother supplies. The print quality is good and I like the QWERTY keyboard. The printer itself makes a solid and durable impression. Turning on the power is great. My problems are as follows: 1. Although the display is visible in the picture, it is not visible when using the product. I had to use a flashlight in a well-lit room to barely see the letters.2. The printer just isn't intuitive - it's somehow not as easy to change fonts as it is with Brother.3. The attached tape is difficult to separate from the label.4. As you can see in the picture, there is some kind of icon in front of the words you typed. I don't know what it is, but I've spent too much time deleting it. It wasn't until I printed the label and saw this image that I realized that whatever it was, it couldn't be printed.5. As you can see in the picture, there is a lot of white space at the beginning of each label. I see MarkDomain creates its own color band. Here is your explanation for wasting the ribbon. The images on the Revain site don't show the long wasted ribbon at the start, so there's either a shortcut to get rid of all or some of the extra space like Brother printers (reducing the amount of wasted space) or the company Cut off the waste before filming.6. There is no company name or contact information on the product, nor in the 60-page manual, nor on the packaging. The manual has a warranty page that explains the warranty and urges the buyer to honor the warranty in order to get service, but there's no information on HOW to get service - there's no website, email address, or postal address anywhere. The lack of a company name on the printer is a problem. What is the value of a guarantee if it cannot be used? The bottom line is that it works and the labels it prints are fine, but given the display issue, lack of any contact information for the company, and wasted ribbon, this wasn't a good choice for me.
