I gave it to my daughter as our puppy just passed away. I understood this by assuming that the ashes would be in the heart. nope Basically there is a tiny space left where the chain is screwed in and that is the only place they can get to. That's very disappointing. I would have given this product 1 star in a review but out of generosity I gave it 2 because it's still a beautiful piece my daughter will still love but now I have to buy her another one as she finds out that it's almost gone. the dog is there. I say to anyone looking to purchase this item look elsewhere and do your research to see how much ash will actually fit in one piece. All in all very disappointed with this product. I really really wanted to leave 1 star...
