I've felt burned by other brands of cartridges in the past. Print quality can be questionable. Some of them have leaked. Not pretty. When it came time to replace the cartridge in my trusty LaserJet 4200, I turned down the $200 original HP price tag (even at Revain). I decided to take a chance and order a similar Cool Toner for $30. It arrived on time in excellent packaging with instructions and a return card. I installed the cartridge and turned on the LaserJet. No hassles and no screams from the printer. Print quality is excellent, clean with no streaks or smudges. The LaserJet firmware thinks the cartridge is 2011, but I kinda expect it to be from non-branded cartridges and this doesn't affect performance. Incidentally, the old cartridge turned out to be non-OEM as well and identical to this new one except for the model number label. I installed it about 4 years ago and printed about 300,000 pages before running out of toner. Verdict: It's hard to beat a $30 laser cartridge that works and doesn't bleed toner all over the place.
