The Zero Water Chart shows the expected levels of TDS in water for each state. Our water has been tested within this range. Using Zero Water reduced the TDS to zero. It is recommended to change the filters when the TDS meter shows water at 0.006. Here's a tip. Replacing the filter can cost around $15. Zero Water for 7 cups (including filters) can be purchased for less than $20. Buy another one and use a Zero Water tank with a .006 filter to re-filter your tap water. Then pour it into the message container with the new filter. Over time, the .006 filter will deteriorate and you will need to buy a new filter. But you can repeat the filtering process and extend the life of your filter. Enjoy!
