This is my first time buying mealworms and I'm new to ducks so I don't have a clear frame of reference but they are a huge hit. The worms smell fresh every time I open the box for another scoop. The ducks start making noises every time I walk with them. I scatter them on the ground and in their little pond where they swim until the ducks eat them all. I can't say it changed the color of the yolk that much, but it makes them very happy. Qualitatively, the worms are a good size and whole (not broken or old). In fact, as vegetarians, they even smell nice - like roasted nuts or something.
