I connected my old SATA SSD to it after an upgrade and I know I use it as my primary hard drive on my Raspberry PI and he screams at speed. Well what can I say it did exactly what I needed and nothing was asked of me, I just plugged it in and formatted it and it works with no driver issues. on my raspberrypi and its insane speed, honestly a great product. Linux HDparm test below, both connected to the same 16-port USB hub, I was quite surprised by the results of sudo hdparm -Ttv /dev/sdb ; sudo hdparm -Ttv /dev/sdd/dev/sdb: multcount=1 (on) readonly=0 (off) readahead=256 (on) geometry=121601/255/63, sectors=1953525168, start=0 scheduled reads: 1418 MB in 2.00 seconds = 709.78 MB/s Buffered disk read time: 818 MB in 3.01 seconds = 272.01 MB/s/dev/sdd: multcount = 1 (on) read-only = 0 (off ) readahead = 256 (on) geometry = 121601 /255/63, sectors = 1953525168, start = 0 cache read time: 1612 MB in 2.00 seconds = 806.71 MB/s buffered disk read time: 884 MB in 3, 00 seconds = 294.48 MB/s sec
