I'm a 6'0" runner, weigh 180lbs and run about 10-15 miles a week. I prefer neutral shoes and have previously used the Nike Pegasus, Saucony Triumph and Ride which I generally liked all of them (and tried the Brooks Ghost with much less success. Compared to these shoes, the Zealot feels stiffer initially and not as "soft", with a cushion in the forefoot that feels like a localized air bubble which takes a bit of getting used to compared to the more consistent foam feel of other running shoes but is unnoticeable after a run and overall fairly quiet is comfortable The upper is very comfortable and the shoe is noticeably lighter than my previous running shoes, with a TON of sock room will see it wear out as I often feel some discomfort in my knee when the cushion starts to break, usually after more than 200 miles in shoes. The orange is really strong. Very very bright. ***Update: After about 50 miles my hamstrings started killing me, probably due to the increased stiffness. I had to give up using them except for walking. Damn. Went back to Saucony Ride and the pain gradually went away.
