are easy to use. long flexible cable, 4-digit combination lock. The downside is that it adds weight to your gear and every year it gets harder to see small numbers. Most hotels don't have a good place to hang a cord in my opinion. A wooden table leg, 3 good kicks and it's all gone, OTOH kinda obvious when you're on a laptop. My arm seems to hang a bit (poor alignment) when pressed to line it up for insertion or removal, but given the cost of the cable I can't expect the frame to be machined. The bottom line is that this deters easy thieves from being physically removed. Now your data is safe on it?
