These are everything they are advertised to be. I just needed to read or look more closely. The lid is a regular lid that screws off and on with no spout or opening. I tried using the standard grocery store straws and my metal reusable straw, and all are about 2 inches too short.They aren't insulated - and it is clear that they aren't in the description. But if you fill the container with ice until it is full and then add your cold liquid, it stays cold for a couple of hours. Since I try to drink it all by that time, that works just fine.The colors are quite pretty. I got blue, pink, and turquoise ones. They went through the dishwasher great. It is nice to have a bigger opening both for adding regular ice cubes and for cleaning.
