Review on 👁️ RAAYOO S5-001 5 inch High Definition TFT LCD Backup Camera Monitor with 2 Optional Brackets, 2 Way Video Input, 12V/24V (5 inch-01) by Jere Mosley

I purchased this 5 inch screen with a new backup camera that I installed in our 2010 Chevy pickup that my high school son now drives. The screen immediately springs to life when it detects power and a signal coming through the RCA input as advertised. That's great because the reversing camera was made by a different company and wired to the taillights to provide power only when the reverse lights are on. This screen was advertised as black until it detected a video signal and while I didn't test it in total darkness it appears to work as advertised, which is exactly what I wanted. The image is crisp and I displayed the redundant lines on the screen to help my son identify where the back of the pickup truck goes. It's a big car for him (big for anyone?) and without a backup camera it was hard to tell where the rear of the car was. This inexpensive screen works great and lives up to the advert. Very happy with the purchase. I also appreciate the two separate mounting options (adhesive mount and standard window vacuum). I haven't used these two mounts yet as I'm still working to see where we want to mount the screen in the car. .
