Review on 🎨 American Crafts' DIY Shop Chalkboard Paint: 16.2oz, Black (366867) - Create Your Own Chalkboard Surface! by Sasha Hsiao

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not good for plastic (if it's poorly primed), but anything porous!

later I've used this chalk paint on many surfaces in my home and here's what you need to know: 1. Porous materials adhere very well. cork, wood, chipboard, stone and wall paint. If it's particularly textured, consider applying with a sponge as it's thick and may take a while to brush.2. Metal and glass are fine, I sanded them but they will scratch on a plastic surface. If not, it will definitely wrinkle or fall off when wet.3. Chalk pens stick very well, maybe too well. Residues may remain after washing. And yes, if you rub too hard there is a small risk of scratching. If you're only using it for decoration (don't write on it with chalk), you should buy a matte finish. I don't think it should affect chalk pens, but I'm not sure.4. There is a lot of this material. It can even cover the wall. Lots of money (where does that phrase come from?!). Happy crafting everyone!
