Works fairly well and has many diagnostic applications especially those that require long cranking with ECM and full fuel cut off. You can also more easily wrap the amplifier probe around one of the wires. The wires can withstand a lot of current. I'm glad I bought it. My only caveat with using this tool is obvious: NEVER start the engine when the car is on and in gear. Always make sure the car is in parking mode and the key is removed when using this tool, as the tool opens up the possibility of starting the car in forward or reverse mode when there is no one behind the driver's seat. Pretty dangerous when that happens.
