My initial review had the following instructions working. But READ!> Follow these steps: Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. Click Lighting, then Add New, then "Other". > DO NOT search for devices yet. PRESS YOUR FINGER ON THE SEARCH DEVICES BUTTON. Turn the lamp on and off, or turn on the Sylvania lamp 5 times. Final Spell: The lamp will flash on and off, changing color (turning red?) PRESS THIS BUTTON NOW. NOT BEFORE AND NOT AFTER the lamp does this little light show. It will find it and you can control it. Enjoy! I did as soon as I received it. Good. but after a few hours i sent commands to two lightbulbs and now they are not responding. I added them again (using the instructions above) and as expected they add up, work for a while and then stop working again. The Bluetooth connection just doesn't always work. I'll go to Home Depot and pick up Phillips WiZ lights. They're about the same price ($12-$13) and have Wi-Fi like all my other smart home devices. Bluetooth just doesn't work in this context.
