I have a love seat, basically two powered recliners, I purchased 5 or 6 years ago. It was powered by a rechargeable Enovation battery. The battery died. It would not take a charge. I looked up a new battery and the first one I saw was nearly $300. Shopping around, I found different brands, the cheapest about $150 and several up about $250. I was a bit flabbergasted at the cost. The love seat was in a spare bedroom that did not get used that often and it was a tough pill to swallow spending that much on something that is not used that often. I found this power supply for $17. There are a number of factors to consider. The connectors and will they fit. The amount of power it will produce. The voltage. I have a degree in electronics and it looked reasonable to me. Compared to a couple hundred bucks, I figured it was worth $17 just to try it out. I didn't really care about the battery, I could leave it plugged in all the time. Bottom line, it worked fine. It took about 30 seconds to plug in, connect to the existing power cords built into the love seat, sit down, push a button and recline. Now, I would recommend if you think it will work, look at your battery and its voltage. This power supply is about 29 volts. Plus or minus a volt should not matter. I measured the original wall charger that came with the battery to make sure it was working and it measured at 30 volts DC. The current is rated at 2 amps (2000mA) which is the same as the failed battery I had. There are some battery's with higher rating. If you have a batter with a higher rating, your furniture either needs more power, in which case, this power supply may not be for you, or the battery is just intended to work longer between charges. I suspect in most cases, the later is the case and the 2 amps will work fine since the power supply is plugged in all the time and you do not have to worry about battery life. Bottom line, I think this power supply will work for a lot of people. Just check the battery you are replacing and make sure it is 29 volts and close to 2 amp or 2000mA rating.
