These are my first ANC headphones and I have to say I love them! I've had Mobvoi's Ticpods Free wireless earbuds for a number of years (I backed their Kickstarter campaign) and have been very happy with them. When I heard they were releasing these new full size ANC earbuds I was dying to buy them. Try her. My first impression upon opening it was that they were built with quality materials and craftsmanship. I like the weight and design of these headphones. I chose silver because I think they look better than black ones. The ear pads and headband feel smooth and soft and are very comfortable! I have cheap in-ear headphones from another brand and the earcups are too small for my ears, which always caused pain after long-term use, but my ears fit perfectly! Please see some of the unboxing photos I took to see what was in the box. Pairing with my Pixel 2XL was very quick and easy. I figured I'd test them out on first use by putting them on while blowing off fall leaves with a leaf blower - at high speed. Yes I know, what a bold step! I wasn't sure what to expect. With ANC enabled (default) I turned on my playlist and was AMAZED at how well ANC worked! Even with the fan on high, I could barely hear him in the background! I used the earbuds for several hours and the battery only drained 10%, which is in line with the claimed battery life of up to 30 hours. Also, I had no pain around my ears. I was sweating profusely in the 90 degree Los Angeles heat, so the pillows got wet. A quick towel dry and everything was like new again. However, we will see how long these materials last. These headphones have excellent sound and clarity, clear highs, solid mids and smooth bass. My playlist ranges from pop to classical, and no matter what genre was chosen, it always kept a balanced sound. I'm not an avid audiophile but I appreciate good sound and they have it. Their signal range is excellent - I left my phone in the yard and was able to walk to the back of the house (50+ feet) before it started breaking. I also tried connecting them to my computer and the sound was just as good. I just wish the audio cable was a little longer. I've never spoken to them on the phone, but I'm sure it will sound great. Other positives: - I love how they announce when the ANC is on or off - A small pouch was included to store accessories - A simple but nice zippered headphone pouch. One not so positive thing: I noticed that with the ANC on, when I was moving fast (like walking fast), there was a slight "choppy" in the sound with the headphones shaking a little, as if the sound was coming for you and went very short time. This did not happen with the ANC switched off. I contacted Tickasa support regarding this and the tech team explained that the ANC creates an airflow and then causes the horn cone to make abnormal and erratic movements that produce the cone tone. In other words, they're not the best workout headphones, but they're not designed to be that, which is why I still have wireless headphones. I will keep them if I really want to enjoy music with high sound quality and comfort. Considering what you get for the price, these are very good headphones. I hope they last for many years and I hope my wife doesn't take them away from me. :) I hope my review helps you with your purchase decision and thanks for reading!
