Okay, it's a tape. Scottish, nothing special. It's sticky and sticks well to whatever you stick it to. I had to cut out about 60 small pieces to glue to some of the acoustic wall panels I bought here at Revain. I started by cutting out small pieces and gluing them to the panel. It's time to remove the red backing and we're in business. Not right. I think I spent about 15 minutes removing 4 small pieces. .Solution?First remove the red backing of the media on the roll and cut the tape. You can remove the red backing paper one turn at a time. I used 3M double sided tape and the backing always comes off easily. That's not at all. It's good tape, but if I hadn't removed the backing from the roll it would have taken hours of work just to stick 60 or so small pieces onto my records.
