Review on 🥬 E-Jen Premium Kimchi and Sauerkraut Container - Probiotic Fermentation with Inner Vacuum Lid (Earthenware Brown, 0.45 gal/1.7L) - Enhanced for SEO by Kayla Moore

Extremely easy to use and gives great results

After a kimchi class where we bagged our kale quarters in a quart jar, I came home inspired to try making a larger batch at home. I knew that after the joy of cutting the cabbage to portion size to prevent infecting others, I didn't want to use mason jars anymore. So I searched for Onggi but came across this. I love that the inner lid helps keep the contents anaerobic and isolates the flavor (which I prefer to separate from the rest of the food in my fridge). Thanks to a very good teacher, both the first glass and my first batch I made at home with this glass turned out great. I now have a jumbo batch in a small spare fridge and another medium sized container of E-Jen which I received before I realized how large this batch would be. Due to the difficulties with grocery delivery these days, I'm particularly glad I once started making my own kimchi. My local Korean market is always meticulous: wearing masks and gloves, sanitizing the counter between customers. I just wait until there are no other buyers and I can buy some things I need quickly and safely. It's nice to know I can always include leafy greens in my diet, and I love radish kimchi, too. The effervescence of homemade kimchi is amazing. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it; and if you make your own you can adapt the recipe to your liking. Thank you for reading my review.
