. When I bought these I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was looking for an affordable alternative to plastic wrap and I definitely found that in this product. These wraps are a great product! I received the small, medium and large, neatly packaged in the envelope they arrived in. I find it difficult to use it for anything other than storing very small pieces of cheese or keeping a lime/avocado fresh. 2) Medium - a good size but not what I would expect from a "medium". Sometimes I find it's too small for some plates or containers which I consider average. 3) Large size is perfect. It MAY be too big depending on what you're trying to save, but in general I think it's best to have a surplus to better cover your food. After a few weeks of use, here are some answers to questions I asked myself as I pondered the purchase: (1) How easy are they to clean? Extremely easy. Nothing sticks to it like food does to plastic wrap, and on the rare occasion that it does, the excess food is immediately washed off with cold water. I always dry mine before storing them, so I'm not sure about mold or their ability to create it. I don't think this is a problem - it depends on how you clean them. (2) Do they really have a smell? Yes there is. Personally, I really like the smell of honey, so that wasn't a problem for me. But if you don't like honey/sweet smells then this product is not for you. However, the smell goes away after a few uses. (3) Are they easy to store/do I need to do anything special to store them? nope! I just clean them, fold them and keep them in a drawer where I keep other similar materials. I rinse them and dry them again when I want to use them again. (4) Are they sticky enough/really a good alternative to other wraps? For now I would say yes. They're the right amount of "sticky" stuff that needs to be sealed perfectly. It keeps food fresh, prevents bad smells and reduces waste. (5) Are they worth the price? They're a bit pricey, but I evaluated the savings over other disposables and these wraps come out on top. This is a good return if you are looking for a sustainable and reusable option. However, if that is not your goal then this product may not be for you as it does not come cheap. (6) Do you have to rub a lot to make it stick / how hard do you have to work to make it work? ? Not difficult at all. As advertised, they seal with the warmth of your hands. If you're in a hurry, you can do what I do! I run hot water for a few seconds, wash my hands with hot water, and then close the containers. Wraps stick almost instantly. Overall I would say this is a great product! I will definitely buy again if this particular set needs replacing.
