I built a cabinet and drawers with these slides installed. Everything was exactly square. The use of back angles causes two problems: 1.) They reduce the distance between the two rails, so the drawer can get stuck with small dimensions. 2.) they scratch the sides of the drawer. Instead of building the extra thickness and filing channels into the drawers, I installed them without the brackets. There are two screw holes in the far corners which I used to hold the slides securely. Without brackets, drawers slide like clockwork. We hope this attachment method will last a long time. This isn't the kind of slide where you can push the drawer a little and it slides in and then gently closes on its own. You have to push (with minimal effort) for the locking mechanism to work and do the work for you. They don't slam and all snap into the locking mechanism very easily. Overall, I'm happy with the three pairs I've installed. Quality and performance for all three sets were the same. There is room for larger screws if you are using thicker wood for a drawer or drawer.
