This cable works very well. It was in the forest not too long ago, so I can't say anything about its durability. It works well with cam locks and Primos spigots. I just hope it's a good deterrent for those who want to take it. Before buying, I read hunting forums. People have had their cameras stolen while they were in use. A hacksaw or an ax will do. It is said that braided steel is difficult to cut with bolt cutters because it simply compresses. That does the job for me. I often hide my camera when it's in the woods and put it off the beaten path just in case. If you're spending $100 or more on a camera, I don't think there's any reason not to mount it to a tree with something other than the strap that comes with it. This makes me feel a little more comfortable sitting in the $100 forest.
