When I received this belt I found that it was not leather. (Sadly, this is all too common in the belt industry.) The material feels light, cheap, and porous. It creaks when you move the buckle. And the color is much lighter brown, no shine like in the photo. The only part of the belt made as shown in the photo is the loop after the buckle. Besides the low quality, it is also poorly designed. The "leather" loop that you put the belt through after you fasten it is too tight. Yes, it fits, but you'll have to work hard to get through it. Also, the slot in the leather for the buckle's metal pin is oriented inwards rather than outwards, so trying to undo the pin pulls on the 'skin'. This will definitely be a failure point.
