I clean houses and use this on ceilings, corner ceiling fans and anything hard to reach. It has a detachable telescoping handle which I love because it fits easily in the front pocket of my grooming bag. The additional seat is not occupied. It cleans dust well and is soft enough that I even use it (carefully) on crystal chandeliers and reaches far enough that I can easily vacuum high vaulted ceilings. (I have a few caps that this won't hit) but for the most part, that's about it. The fluffy part is also flexible so I can bend it into an AC shape to really dust things like fan blades, and straighten it back out for ceilings and then just slightly bend the top for ceilings and baseboards. I can do it over and over again without feeling like it's damaging his integrity. I really want the fluffy part to be maybe chenille to really pick up dust because when I clean ceiling fans I find you see the dust flying off the blades instead of catching and trapping it. Because if I do that before every other vacuum or vacuum, I'll have to vacuum the room again. Ultimately I am very happy with this purchase, will buy again and recommend.
