The wood looks great and the finish of the parts looks really good but unfortunately it's not constructed properly. Despite the cleats, the shelves hang forward due to the insufficient length of the mounting bars. The ball I was sitting on the shelf rolled straight to the floor. You can also just put 1/2 screws in the studs, since that's how the mounts are designed, and given the weight of the wood itself (considerable), standard drywall anchors just won't do. You need really good drywall anchors. The ones that came with the kit are the cheapest I've seen, but even some of the better ones I've had didn't hold up well (again, despite having 1/2 the screw in the studs).
