The faucet is mainly made of plastic
We bought this because the faucet was described as stainless steel (most sold now are plastic). Upon receipt and attempted installation, it turns out that the weir is actually the only metal part. All other parts are made of plastic. When installing the main water supply, the plastic fitting broke immediately!
