Works most of the time. Useful but could be a lot better.

This phone works for the most part, but it freezes from time to time. We've had it for about 6 months now and twice it crashed and I had to unplug the power and battery to restart it. In both cases when you try to connect to an incoming call routed to me from another Ooma DP1 phone and they lose. The sound quality is average. Others have commented on the lack of feedback when pressing the buttons, which is mostly true, but not entirely true. There is an option in the menu to enable button pressing. It doesn't seem to work for me when I select it, but the box isn't checked. After that, however, you will hear a slight click when you press the keys. It should show the numbers you entered on the display, but it doesn't. For example, in our corporate office, you can dial an extension for the person you wish to speak to. Once connected, during a call you will see the dialed number, but when you dial an extension you will not get any information about what you dialed. Every other system I've used shows the numbers you press on the display. It's a nice big display, you should use it. The wireless part is why we bought them. We moved to a new office and instead of having phone wires in the building we just added cordless phones. So if you don't mind losing a caller from time to time, give it a try
