This is just what I need to add remote access to a steel frame door. It fits snugly in a standard D panel cutout. Has been working in a kindergarten on the doorstep for 6 months without any problems. All components are durable. I've used a few other brands that cost 6x more and work exactly the same at our other centers. Will definitely buy again and recommend to friends. All you really need is a power supply and a normally open push button switch to get it working. I have a locking detent which means it is locked when there is no voltage. Add a cheap intercom or surveillance system and that's money for remote access.
