I bought this as an alternative to Hue to try. Several forum posts said they got the Cree bulbs working with a detailed process, but after about 30 minutes of trying, I had no luck. My hub was updated and I followed people's instructions to "turn it on and add it to the Hue app IMMEDIATELY". And when I finally gave up, I used the Smart Life app and it found it right away. So I couldn't get it to work with the tint, which I think was advertised incorrectly, but even after doing this twice, the bulb now loses its brightness. connection and must be rediscovered. Lightbulbs are as 'set and forget' as it gets, so in the last month having to manually add them twice has been a bummer.
