This is a great pad for the price. I followed the instructions to turn the mat over before use and it worked great. It works great as a keyboard and mouse pad. I'm deducting a star because it's not very comfortable for a table mat to write on paper with a pen or pencil. The mat's soft surface allows your writing utensils to dig into the paper you're writing on. It's okay if you have something to put between the mat and the paper. I would have liked the same pad but with a more comfortable writing surface. If you don't care about handwriting, then this rug is perfect for you.
