I just bought a new 87 inch LG TV and NVidia GForce RTX 3080 gaming PC for the meeting room which is about 1200 feet from our cable modem . routers. I have a Netgear Nighthawk RAX120 on my cable modem (which can reach the whole house, yard and a bit down the street) but figured I'd get this extender to give me lots of ethernet cables and a seamless one Extension of me to create existing network. It was very easy to connect to my existing Nighthawk router and just emulate a single (unified) Wi-Fi network that appears larger. And I was able to connect multiple Cat8 cables to my LG TV, Blu-ray player, XFinity X1 Box and gaming PC, so I don't have to mess with Wi-Fi configurations on individual devices. I have gigabit service from Xfinity and the demand for the network has been quite high. However, I can pull around 270-380Mbps on devices connected to this extender via Ethernet. If Xfinity had more bandwidth I could probably transfer local files better.
