Review on 🐹 Habitrail Small Animal Cage: Ideal Habitat for Hamsters and Gerbils by Rachel Smith

I was looking for a new cage for my Winter White Dwarf Hamster. When I read the reviews, many people mentioned that they had a hard time putting it together and I was a little worried. There were also many conflicting reports as to whether the cage door was plastic or wire. The cage I received in the mail has a clear plastic door. One of the things that drew me to this cage over others was the color combination, it wasn't too crazy and has mostly positive reviews. When it arrived the cage was already assembled, all I had to do was add a small niche to the side of the cage. It's pretty easy to take apart when I need to clean the cage. I removed the wheel that came with the kit, concerned that my hamster foot would get stuck in the small hole along the wheel. The water bottle that comes with the cage is slightly smaller than an iPhone 5s (attached photo for reference). Overall I am very happy with this cage.
