I call this test balanced because I've been working with computers for over 40 years and I'm a "techie". I don't want to brag, but I'm one of those who teach young technicians today. This refurbished computer isn't a bad deal, but don't think you're getting something amazing out of the box. I ordered one of these to use in my garage as a spare computer, so I wasn't expecting much. However, I wasn't expecting noticeably poor performance. Because? The SSD that the mechanics installed in this computer is probably one of the worst on the planet. Slow and unreliable. But very cheap. It works out? Yes. Noticeably slow? You bet. The first thing I did when I noticed the machine's slowness was to order a better SSD. The included USB Wi-Fi adapter was insignificant - I also disabled it to improve network performance. The mouse works fine, but the keyboard that came with it has at least one letter partially erased. So can I get it back? no Is it cool out of the box? Absolutely not. I'm guessing someone buys these things in bulk from companies for pennies on the dollar, installs the cheapest SSDs they can, and hopes for the best.
