I bought this to use with my Samsung TV and headphone splitter so my wife and I can watch TV. I have bluetooth headphones that work great with the tv so can't fault the tv but this unit has very poor range. Even if you're just 10 feet away in front of the TV, you can tell it's dropping packets. The sound sometimes becomes hoarse/poppy. And when I take it to the kitchen, which is the TV room, it shuts off completely, while I can wear a Bluetooth headset in the garage and still have reception. So this doesn't work well for me.
