I've had this player for about six months now. About 15% of the DVDs I own have at least one feature that can cause this player to crash. If it is, the only way to reset it is to press the change disc button. Other buttons do not work. The remote's design is poor, with half of the buttons covered by a cover and virtually inaccessible. The skip and fast forward function are combined with one button, to fast forward you need to press and hold the jump button for a few seconds, if you don't hold it long enough, it will skip to the next scene. The jump back function does not work, you can only jump back to the beginning of the scene, not to an earlier one. So if you accidentally jump to the next scene, you'll have to restart the movie from the beginning.
