Simple and Efficient Design

The Aidmax Pro05 Digital Cooking Thermometer does not come with a remote control like other meat thermometers on the market. For some this may be a minus, but in my opinion this is a plus. I started looking for a new thermometer because my original unit only had two thermistors and a remote unit. It was difficult to control multiple cuts of meat, moving the sensors from cut to cut and waiting for the temperature to update (at this point the temperature may already be higher than I wanted). With my old thermometer, I never used the functions built into the remote because I didn't want to learn the different rows of buttons to set the temperature only to forget it the next time I grilled. So I bought a 4-sensor thermometer as a replacement, also with a remote unit. I learned how to preset temperature alarms, but once I snooze one alarm, the others will snooze too. This means I was warned before the first cut of the steak, but there were no alarms for the rest. I returned this thermometer and found Aidmax. Aidmax was paired with a smartphone/tablet app I had installed on my Fire HD 8. It connected to the thermometer via bluetooth and the app was well written. Temperature settings are intuitive. The app comes pre-programmed with temperatures for different meats, but it was easy for me to reset it to my desired value, and the app remembers that setting for the next time I use it. I was surprised that the thermometer unit actually accepts 6 thermistors, but there are only 4 in the box. Additional sensors can be purchased and added. I don't usually cook more than 4 steaks at a time, but this feature will definitely come in handy for large meetings. app, but the trick to keeping all the juices in the steak is to take the steak off the heat at 125F and let it rest for 5 minutes. The internal temperature of the steak continues to rise to 130Β°C and after a resting period of 5 minutes the juice remains in the steak. In summary, my steaks got rave reviews this weekend which means this thermometer gets rave reviews. from me.
