The trunk does not open, but is easily reprogrammed.
The original key fob on the right has the Buick logo and I bought 2 key fobs on the left without the Buick logo to replace the broken one. I am disappointed that they do not open my trunk. Everything is perfectly reprogrammed and everything works, only I can't open the trunk with the key on a double click. You have to open the trunk lid manually.
