Kali loves this leash. We can play with her freely in our unfenced yard without worrying about her. The leash is long enough that if she starts walking around where she shouldn't, we can easily grab the end and she doesn't think we're getting close enough to grab her. The leash held snow, mud, water etc. well. Even in the mud it didn't get unnecessarily dirty. Easy to clean and doesn't stick to anything in the garden. It will pinch a car tire or if it makes more than one circle around a tree like any other rope. No complaints here. We love it. Update: 12/15/19 The lever on the buckle broke. We still love the rope and can still use it, although not as easy to hook or unhook. We will inform the manufacturer and let you know the result. Update: 12/23/29 received a new cable from the manufacturer in the mail after a very brief and pleasant email exchange. Very very happy with their customer service and very happy with the product. 5 Stars
